Flight School
Where wings are earned.
An 8-week basketball player development program built to help young athletes develop their game, build confidence and learn how to train with purpose.
Fall 2026 enrollment now open
More than a basketball camp.
Flight School gives players the time, attention and repetition needed to make real progress.
Players train together in small groups over eight weeks—developing skills, learning the game, competing and building confidence along the way.
- 8 weeks
- 3 hours / week
- 24 hours of development
- 10 players max
Confidence in training.
We want players to leave POF with more than better basketball skills.
We want them to understand how to get better.
Every session combines focused skill development, game understanding, purposeful repetition and competition—helping players build confidence in both their game and the work they put into it.
What we develop
Four things, every session.
Skill
Build the tools to handle, shoot, finish, pass and play with greater control.
IQ
Learn to read the game, make better decisions and understand why things work.
Competition
Put skills under pressure and learn to compete with confidence.
Mindset
Develop discipline, resilience and confidence that carries beyond the gym.
Why we do this
“What he’s already done has made an impact.”
“When Paislee got to my mom’s after practice, she called me and said, ‘Mom… I found a love for basketball!!’ She was so excited to tell me about how she scored points for her team. Thank you guys for helping her discover that!”
Some players come to POF already passionate about basketball. Others are just discovering what the game can become for them.
Both belong here.
Who is Flight School for?
Every player starts somewhere.
Flight School is designed for developing basketball players at a wide range of experience levels—from kids picking up the game for the first time to experienced players looking to take another step forward.
New to the game
Never played organized basketball? No problem. We’ll teach the fundamentals, build confidence, and help prepare players to step onto the court for their first season.
Developing players
Already playing rec, school, or club basketball? We’ll strengthen the fundamentals, improve decision-making, and build the skills and confidence to become a more complete player.
Experienced players
For players with years of experience, Flight School provides focused development designed to sharpen their game, address weaknesses, and push them toward the next level.
Players are grouped by age, ability, and experience whenever possible so they can be challenged at the right level.
You don’t have to be great to start. You just have to want to get better.
Built for development.
Flight School isn’t a massive camp.
Groups are limited to 10 athletes so players get meaningful coaching, repetition and individual attention while still having enough teammates around them to compete and learn to play.
Flight School is currently planned for athletes in 2nd–10th grade.
Players are grouped by age, ability and developmental fit. Older high-school athletes may be better suited for Extended Play depending on their experience, goals and readiness.
Some players arrive already dreaming about making the team. Some are preparing for their very first season. Some are still discovering whether basketball is their game.
Flight School is built for all of them.
Where you start does not determine where you can go.

Development isn’t something you’re given.
It’s earned through the reps nobody sees, the mistakes you learn from, the confidence you build and the decision to keep going.
