Become Unstoppable.

Basketball player development for athletes ready to take their game further.

Confidence in training.

Pursue more.

Pursuit of Flight exists to help players become more skilled, more confident and more capable of making things happen on the court.

We don’t just put players through drills.

We teach them how to train, how to understand the game and how to turn purposeful work into a game they can trust.

Confidence in training.

Better players aren’t built by collecting drills.

They’re built through purposeful work. Understanding what they’re doing. Knowing why they’re doing it. Getting the right reps. Learning through mistakes. Competing. Adjusting. And doing it again.

POF is built to give athletes confidence in how they train—so they can develop confidence in how they play.

Meet Coach J

Built to develop.

Pursuit of Flight was founded by Coach Jake Marcum with a simple belief: every player has another level they can reach.

Coach J brings a methodical approach to learning, preparation and development into the gym—breaking the game down, finding opportunities for improvement and helping players turn focused work into real progress.

His own path through basketball—from the end of the bench to varsity starter and team captain—shaped a belief that where a player is today doesn’t determine where they can go.

POF isn’t about running athletes through drills. It’s about understanding the player in front of you, seeing where they can go, and helping them build the skill, confidence and understanding to get there.

The goal is simple: help players become harder to stop.

Ready to take flight?

POF intentionally works with a limited number of athletes.

Small groups, limited gym availability and hands-on coaching mean there are only so many spots available each season.

Find the training path that’s right for you.
